Hybrid Propulsion & Thrust
The world is demanding more efficient and sustainable solutions in marine environments and we are leading the way with our hybrid propulsion and thrust systems. We’ve teamed up with ZF, the world leader in marine drive train components to develop a hybrid propulsion system that can operate in both forward and reverse directions, a first of its kind in the market. Combined with our electric thrusters, a vessel can now move in all directions under hybrid-electric power, greatly increasing maneuverability and significantly lowering the complexity of complicated movements.
The system is powered directly from solar power generation or onboard battery banks, bringing emissions to near-zero when operating in port or near city centers. Onboard master computers monitor every component of the propulsion system from solar panels to propellers, maximizing efficiency, safety, maintenance predictability, and ease of use.
Self-Sufficient
Solar Power Generation
Our solar solution utilizes single silicon crystal cell technology which boasts higher efficiencies and sleeker aesthetics when compared to more common, lower performing poly-crystalline silicon options.
The panels, which can be seamlessly integrated into the a vessel’s existing profile, directly charge the lithium-ion battery banks, providing enough power for hotel loads and allowing a ship to stay anchored away from shore for extended periods of time.

Spud pole engineered
Shallow Water Anchoring
Our spud pole anchoring system is significantly safer and easier for an operator to deploy and retrieve than a conventional weighted anchor on a chain and allows the vessel to hold its position in a tight anchorage or in a channel. The spud pole is raised and lowered hydraulically using seawater pumps, typically used for fire extinguishing and water extraction.
While anchored, our hybrid propulsion system can act as a generator using tidal flow to spin the propellers and charge the onboard batteries, supplementing the solar power generation and paving the way for self-sufficient boats.
The top of the spud pole chamber can also serve as an awning for shade on the bow.
Efficient & comfortable
Roll Stabilization and Pitch Control
Traditional rudders positioned directly behind a boat’s propellers contribute tremendous drag force and wasted energy. Our rudderless directional control solutions remove these inefficiencies while providing the ultimate experience in comfort and ease of operation.
We’ve developed independently-activated port and starboard hydrofoils that work in combination with our fully-electric thrusters to counteract the motion of a vessel at sea. The ships motion and displacement are monitored using an array of sensors. Automated control algorithms use this information to activate the thrusters and hydrofoils as needed to reduce pitch and roll while underway and hold the ship in a fixed position during on-deck activities.
Revolutionary advancements
HVAC & Interior Climate Control
Cooling, heating and de-humidification for the interior environments onboard large vessels consume the most energy among all the vessels powered systems. Current systems simply turn on and off to meet air conditioning demands, wasting energy and drawing incredible power from the ships electrical system.
Our HVAC solution is a highly efficient digital scroll compressor controlled by variable frequency drive combined with temperature sensors throughout the vessel. A sophisticated control system regulates the compressor speed to meet the heating/cooling demands of the vessel’s various internal spaces as efficiently as possible, reserving more energy for travel and the other electrical systems onboard.
Highly intelligent
Remote Guidance & Operation
Our solutions are centered around making semi-autonomous, singlehanded operation a reality for large, complex boats. Our vessel-wide network of electric components, sensors, and controllers make it possible for a crew of engineers to operate remotely while increasing safety and comfort for those onboard.
Remote monitoring and operation of the vessel’s major navigation, engineering, and maintenance functions greatly reduces the need for onboard staff, resulting in a more intimate travel experience. The same systems used for remote monitoring are used to improve preventative maintenance capabilities, minimizing potential downtime due to unexpected maintenance.
